(Shot from the movie CLOVERFIELD)
The official trailer for the J.J. Abrams project has been posted online
(legally). You can view the trailer over at
Apple.com. We don't know much
about this "CLOVERFIELD" project, but what we do know is that it's a JJ
Abrams/Bryan Burk produced monster movie that remains as a mystery for
the moment. Even the film's trailer was a mystery, for we watched raw
camera footage of a party which becomes a nightmare when a mysterious
force starts attacking New York and throws the head of the statue of
liberty onto the streets (basically it's Godzilla meets the Blair Witch
Project). The monster not seen in the trailer is referred to as "The Parasite."

It is said that the entire film was recorded with handheld cameras to give it
a real and edgy feel. To top it all off, filming hasn't even been completed
yet. Recordings of the mysterious trailer have been appearing all over
youtube, only to be deleted due to copyright issues from Paramount. One
thing's for sure, CLOVERFIELD is not the official name. It's the fake working
title for the movie. According to AICN, Matt Reeves is set to direct this
secret project. We'll have more info for the movie as it comes.
