This time we're showing you the cover art for the 2 pack set which includes
both JOY RIDE and JOY RIDE 2: DEAD AHEAD. According to DVDActive, Fox
Home Entertainment has announced the DVD release of JOY RIDE 2: DEAD
AHEAD, which stars Nicki Aycox, Nick Zano, Laura Jordan, and Kyle Schmid.
Detours can be deadly! When four friends embark on a road trip to Vegas
looking for fun and a few cheap thrills, they have no idea that they’re about
to fall into a blood-drenched charnel house of tension, torture and the
darkest depths of pure primal fear! After their car breaks down in the middle
of nowhere, they must find a way back to civilization.
But their plan soon arouses the malice of Rusty Nail – a murderous, vengeful
trucker with an insatiable appetite for gruesome mutilation and sadistic pain
– and he’ll stop at nothing to ensure they pay their toll…one body part at a
time!The disc will be available to own on October 7th, and should retail at
around $26.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen,
along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a
Joy Ride 2: The Making of Dead Ahead featurette, a Blood and Guts: The
“Make-Up” of Horror featurette, and a Storyboard-to-Scene Comparison. A
2-pack with the first film will also be available for $34.98.
