This is it, the moment we've all been waiting for. Tomorrow night, we're
giving the locals a taste of pure horror. Low budget, down and dirty
blood, gore and mayhem. We're presenting clips and shorts from the
genre's up and coming stars and filmmakers. No remakes, no rules and no
cookie cutter bullshit. This is genuine horror, and we're happy to bring it
to you. The Horror-Fanatics.com staff will be attending the event. Staff
members Nightmare Child, Creepshow and MBZ will be there tomorrow
night. The guys will be sporting their Rotten Cotton apparel. Tomorrow
night from 7-10 pm we'll be presenting clips from  WOMAN'S INTUITION,
ROADSIDE KILLER, THE CLEANER, MOVIE MONSTER INSURANCE, BLACK
DEVIL DOLL, REVERSAL, YOU'VE JUST BEEN STALKED, RED VELVET,
WHISPERS AND SHADOWS, THE DRILL and FATAL FLIRTATIONS.

Keep in mind, some of these films will be competing for a top prize. Let's
see which film is the best! Tomorrow night, Horror-Fanatics.com and Last
Doorway Productions will be honoring the life and work of John Stanley at
the A NIGHTMARE TO REMEMBER Film Festival. For six years (1979-84)
John Stanley hosted CREATURE FEATURES at KTVU, Channel 2, in
Oakland, CA, and it is those fascinating times I have tried to resurrect in
I WAS A TV HORROR HOST. I was preceded by Bob Wilkins, one of the
most popular TV personalities in the San Francisco-Bay Area from
1971-78. Stanley has a book titled I WAS A TV HORROR HOST, which
offers his exclusive interviews with the best of the genre stars and those
who rose up in the ranks to become icons: Leonard Nimoy, William
Shatner and Gene Roddenberry of "Star Trek" fame.

We already mentioned that if you purchase a ticket to the event you'll
be entered in a raffle to win either
THE INVADERS: Season One or H6:
DIARY OF A SERIAL KILLER on DVD. Being the generous team that we
are, we're announcing two more cool prizes! As you can see from the
picture above, we're giving away a copy of the most popular title from
Horrorfest 2007. That title just so happens to be Rolfe Kanefsky's
NIGHTMARE MAN, which stars the princess of scream Tiffany Shepis.
Along with that we're giving out a mystery horror figuring, which we wont
reveal until the actual event. Lets just say, it's an awesome collectible.
Take note, you have one more night to pre-order your tickets for the
event over at
landmarktheatres.com. Just check the June 21st date to
order your tickets.

Last Doorway Productions is holding its first Annual Horror Film Festival in
San Francisco. This event will take place on
Saturday June 21st, 2008.
The event will be held at the wonderful Opera Plaza Cinema, 601 Van
Ness Ave, San Francisco California 94102. We are holding this event to
spread the word about local Horror Film Makers. For those who would like
more information on that go to
lastdoorwayproductions.com. Our Festival
will run from 7-10 pm and Feature as many Short Films as we can
squeeze in along with meeting John Stanley (Horror Host of Creature
Features) and other surprise guests.

Admission is $10.00 at the door, first ten people in line will receive a
Goodie bag, and there will also be Raffle and prizes for the audience as
well as a first, second, and third place prize for the Short Films. Last
Doorway Productions is a San Francisco based Horror Film Production
Company run by Reyna Young. We wanted to help build a local scene
with all the Independent Film Makers in our area and beyond. We realize
that in this age of YouTube and Myspace small Film Makers have a better
chance then ever of getting their films both made and viewed and we
would like to recognize them and help put it up on the big screen. So
come on out and support your local Horror Film Makers for a fun night
and see what may be the next up and coming.
