Synopsis: Japanese school girls die violently after seeing a man wearing
a black hood.

Starring: Eriko Kazuto, Mirai Ueno, Chinatsu Wakatsuki, Eriko Ichido, &
Mirai Ueno.

All That I can really say about this movie is: RIP OFF! The synopsis that I
have for it I actually got from IMDB because when watching it I was like
what is the story? This movie makes no sense and it is an obvious rip off
of Ju-on: The Grudge. They have beginning chapters to each part, the
ghosts makes the clicking hair comb sound, Japanese school girls get
killed and they are telling the story backwards. I remember reading about
this movie a few times. Usually I skip reviews unless I already saw the
movie or if its listed here on HF because I trust the opinions given on
here. So I thought that this movie sounded pretty interesting. Then I
actually watched it and now I truly regret it.

The synopsis given is just the opening of the movie. The movie was also
not scary and the actors were just trying way to hard, from what I
looked up on IMDB for like all of the actors this is either their only movie
or their second. It may not be all their fault since they were following this
horrible script. The filming was horrible, like home video camera quality.
I'm glad I rented this movie because I was getting very close to buying it
just to see it. No wonder it went straight to video. That’s all I can really
say without giving a scene by scene comparison with Ju-on. Ju-Rei is
unoriginal, poorly written, filmed and it’s not scary. Need I say more?
