As many of you already know, Anchor Bay is set to release BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE
OF LESLIE VERNON on
June 26th. According to DVDActive, Anchor Bay has announced
the DVD release of Scott Glosserman’s horror mock-and-shockumentary, which enjoyed
heaps of critical praise earlier this year. The disc will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic
widescreen. No word on audio specs, but extras include an audio commentary with actors
Nathan Baesal, Angela Goethals, Britain Spellings and Ben Pace, The Making of Behind The
Mask, The Casting of Behind The Mask, deleted and extended scenes, with optional
commentary with director Scott Glosserman, a trailer and teaser, and a DVD-ROM
screenplay.

According to DavisDVD, Anchor Bay Home Entertainment have announced BEHIND THE
MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON for release on June 26th. The next great psycho
slasher has given a documentary crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of
terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo. The DVD arrives with a 1.85:1 anamorphic
transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1, an audio commentary track (with director Scott Glosserman and
actors Nathan Baesel, Angela Goethals, Britain Spelling and Ben Pace), deleted & extended
scenes (with optional commentary), "Making Of" and "Casting" featurettes, trailers and the
complete script via DVD-Rom. Retail is $26.98.

Anchor Bay Entertainment has announced that the release date for BEHIND THE MASK:
THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON has changed. The movie is now set to hit on
March 16th.

Anchor Bay recently revealed the new BEHIND THE MASK poster. If you haven't already
heard, the movie will be released theatrically on
January 5th, 2006. The movie is already
getting great reviews, and our friends seemed to like it a lot, so we're definitely looking
forward to the movie.

According to Variety, Anchor Bay is set to release Scott Glosserman's BEHIND THE MASK:

The noted French-Canadian magazine Séquences associated itself with Fantasia to
present their Séquences Award for the best film among the European/South
American/North American selection. Mr. Élie Castiel, editor-in-chief of Séquences, was the
president of the jury for this prize. The journalists Dominique Bouchard, Luc Chaput and
Ismaël Houdassine were the members of this jury.
