According to DVDActive, Fox Home Entertainment will be releasing an Unrated cut of DAY
WATCH which is based on the best-selling horror/sci-fi novels by Sergei Luyanenko. This
second installment of the innovative film trilogy will be available to own on
October 30th,
and should retail at around $27.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic
widescreen, along with a Russian Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. English subtitles, and an
English 5.1 dub will also be provided. Extras will include a commentary by director Timur
Bekmambetov, a Making Of Day Watch featurette, six Russian trailers, 16 Russian TV
spots, and the US theatrical trailer. A two-pack collection with Day Watch and Night
Watch will also be available for $34.98.

You can find many amazing things when you journey through the internet. On youtube
we've made an interesting discovery. On the site you can view a clip from the Russian
movie DAY WATCH. It's a scene in which Anton hides in Olga's body (body swap). The film
hasn't been released in the US yet so there are no subtitles in the clip. Just click

It appears that Fox Searchlight will be releasing DNEVNOY DOZOR (DAY WATCH) this year.
The sequel to the Russian blockbuster NOCHNOY DOZOR (NIGHT WATCH) is scheduled to
hit American cinema's on
June 1st. Based on the novel by Sergei Lukyanenko, it has been
some time since the grand finale of the original film. Anton (Khabensky) continues to fight
the forces of Darkness while simultaneously attempting to find and save his son from the
clutches of those same forces. But when vampires belonging to the Dark side start
mysteriously being killed, and Anton is framed for their murders, he must put that goal on
hold and try to escape the Day Watch that is looking for his blood
