UPDATES

We've finally added our coverage for the LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT remake. You've seen
the trailer for it online and in the theatres. Now we have our very own coverage for it. We
even uploaded that very same trailer on
youtube. After kidnapping and butchering two
teenagers, a gang unknowingly finds refuge with the parents of one of the victims --
hosts who devise gruesome revenge. This new film was written by Adam Alleca and Carl
Ellsworth and directed by Dennis Iliadis. The film stars Sara Paxton, Monica Potter, Garret
Dillahunt, Martha MacIsaac, Spencer Treat Clark, Riki Lindhome and Tony Goldwyn. The
film is a remake of Wes Craven's LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT (1972), which was heavily
influenced by the Swedish film "Jungfrukällan" (1960).

In 2005, the film "CHAOS" was released but due to rights issues it was not labeled as a
remake of either Craven's film or "Jungfrukällan", but instead self-labeled itself as an
original piece. "C
HAOS" was a failure both critically and financially, thus prompting Craven
to produce a remake of his original movie, which in part was also due to the success of
the 2006 "T
HE HILLS HAVE EYES" remake. Some may notice that in the trailer there is a
cover for the Guns N Roses song "Sweet Child o' Mine" recorded by the band Taken by
Trees.
