Plot: Seven years in the future, the survivors on Earth settle into a primitive lifestyle
completely void of electronics. The clusters of human survivors live together in refugee
camps as the phantoms have taken over the cities. Justine is now a teenager and she
escapes to the city to try and make a life for herself where she is not a drain on her
adopted family. She heads in to the city at the urging of Adam, a seeming survivor in the
city that lures her with promises of understanding and friendship.

According to Moviehole, Rider Strong, Jamie Bamber, Georgina Rylance, Noureen DeWulf
and Laura Cayouette will star in the second direct to video sequel PULSE: INVASION.
INVASION is set seven years in the future, after the ghostly invasion of our electronics
has led all such devices to be banned, and the remaining people to take shelter in refugee
camps while spirits inhabit the cities. Justine, the now-teenaged daughter of Bamber’s
character (first introduced as a child in PULSE: AFTERLIFE) is now a teenager yearning to
escape to one metropolis, and is led on by Adam, an apparent survivor living there. Both
AFTERLIFE and INVASION are direct to video sequels to the remake of the J-horror film
If you thought it was over, guess again! Just when you thought you were already cursed
having watched the Americanized PULSE remake, the studio is set to make two new
sequels. This time they're going direct to DVD (as they should). Sci-fi channel premiere
anyone? According to Moviehole.net, Jamie Bamber will star in the sequels (plural) to the
Kristen Bell starrer PULSE. The young actor will be in the direct to video sequels PULSE:
AFTERLIFE and PULSE: INVASION. The films’ writer/director Joel Soisson reportedly hadn't
even seen any “Battlestar” episodes when he cast Bamber – he actually discovered him
when Bamber tested for another film – but is now a big fan, and playing catch-up. He’s
stoked with how versatile and gifted the TV star is.
In the film Bamber plays Stephen, a recently divorced account exec for a large sales firm.
He busted up his own marriage because he slept with someone else. He is the man that
"let it all get away." In the post phantom world, he hides out up in his mountain lodge,
behind an armored wall of sentries. He finds his child, thankfully still alive, and must
protect her from the phantom of ex-wife Michelle (as well as from the jealous and
possessive fling subject, Marta).
