Film crews have filmed a new horror movie in Framlingham.

Jagged Edge Productions has used the East Suffolk countryside to shoot their new horror film, Summon Bloody Mary 2.

Filming took place last week day and night over a period of seven days.

The feature film is a sequel to the 2021 release Summon Bloody Marywhich can be viewed on YouTube.

While the cast took a break from filming the new film, some members of the film crew took the time to visit nearby Framlingham Castle.

Actor Scott McGlynn, who stars in the film, gave fans a glimpse of what to expect when the film releases.

He said: “I’m lucky to be part of this production.

“This movie has more twists than the first movie and is the next level of bloody mary.”

The Welsh actor, who also starred, also added that Suffolk “looked so beautiful” and said he would be looking to return.

Filming for this film coincided with a separate action film shot on Ipswich seafront last week in what has been a busy time for the Suffolk film industry.

Summon Bloody Mary 2 should be released later this year.
