“Where are they now ?!” IFC Films has released the first official trailer for a Home Invasion horror thriller titled See for me, taking the concept of Don’t breathe and mixed with a techno thriller involving a person helping remotely over the phone. This premiere premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, and then stopped by the Vancouver and London film festivals. When former blind skier Sophie sits in a remote mansion, three thieves break in to attack the hidden safe. Sophie’s only defense is Army veteran Kelly. Kelly helps Sophie defend herself against the invaders and survive. Movie stars Skyler Davenport like Sophie, with Kim coates, Jessica parker kennedy, and Laura Vandervoort. It’s a cool concept for a horror movie, and it looks scary! I just hope the movie is good. I dig the way this trailer ends… in the dark.

Here is the official trailer (+ poster) of Randall Okita’s See for me, directly from IFC Youtube:

See for me Poster

A group of thieves break into the luxurious and secluded mansion that Sophie (Skyler Davenport) keeps at home. Sophie, a visually impaired former skier, now has to rely on Kelly (Jessica Parker Kennedy), an Army veteran living across the country, to help her defend herself. See for me is directed by a Canadian visual artist / filmmaker Randall Okita, directing his second feature film after directing The picker previously, as well as many other short films and some television works. The screenplay is written by Adam Yorke and Tommy Gushue. It is produced by Matt Code and Kristy Neville. This one was originally screened at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, and it also performed at the London Film Festival. IFC Films to launch Okita’s See for me in some American theaters + on VOD from January 7, 2022 right after the new year. You look nice ?
